My name is Daniel Watkins. I’m an atmospheric sciences graduate student at Oregon State University with particular interest in polar climate modeling.

A little background:

Bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Brigham Young University – Idaho.

Master’s degree in mathematics from Drexel University.

Worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory during summer 2013 in the Applied Statistics and Computational Modeling group. Decision theoretic evaluation of a bioforensic system using R.

Summer 2012 I was at Los Alamos National Laboratory in D-6 Risk Analysis and Decision Support. Graph theoretic analysis of US road networks using Python.
